6 more weeks until Halloween

Only 6 more weeks until Halloween, and I am pretty excited. Do you know what your kiddos will be this year? This year dear daughter is wanting to go as a Monster High girl, however, I am not sure that will happen. With money being tight right now, those costumes, are just a bit to pricy for my pocket book. I have priced them and the whole costume, wig, and make-up would be about $40. I can only imagine what a family with more than one kid pays for, during Halloween. To be honest we usually stick with the cheap Halloween Costumes at Walmart. Yea there is not much of a selection, but they are a bit cheaper. This year I want to have a small Halloween party, sort of like a celebration for being back in Michigan. I think my nieces, and daughter would have a blast. I already know they will have fun going trick 0r treating this year. When we lived in Tennessee, Halloween was not to celebrated, well not in the area I lived in anyways, we were lucky to find 3 houses in a row … [Read more...]

stuffed jalapeno peppers recipe

I am not one for hot spicy foods, and I am sure not the one for jalapeno peppers. However, my husband loves them! On my daughter's birthday my sister made some stuffed jalapeno peppers, and I almost passed these up, until my husband told me they were not spicy. So, I put on my big girl panties, got brave and tried one, let's just say that one lead to about 5, and then I was hooked. I asked my sister how to make them, she failed to tell me the most important part, SOAK THEM! When I made them I did not soak them and a few were super spicy I thought I was about to die, but both my husband and dad loved them with the extra spice. Want to know how to make these yummy things? What You Need: 20 jalapeno peppers 20 string cheese 20 slices of bacon toothpicks Directions: Cut jalapenos in half length wise, then scrap the seeds out. If you have sensitive hands make sure to wear gloves. This should give you 40, soak them in hot water. I am not sure if this makes a … [Read more...]

witch’s hand craft project #halloween

Won't be long and Halloween will be here! You know what that means, right? It means so are colder temperatures. Colder temperatures mean the kids will not be able to play outside for extended periods of time, so why not have some fun craft projects lined up for them! What a better way to help bring in Halloween, with making Witch's hands. Witch's hands are a fun and in-expensive craft, that children of all ages can do. Of course the smaller children will need help. Best part about this project, is you probably already have everything you need. What is needed: Green Construction Paper Black, Red, and Purple items such as, tissue paper, construction paper, or felt. Pens Glue Scissors Directions: Take one of the green construction papers, and trace your child's hand. This will be the base of the main product. Questions for the Wicked

Do all the lies ever come back to haunt you? I find it funny how some claim to be such great friends, but only talk crap about ones behind their backs. A question for the Wicked, in time you will burn all your bridges, and the only one to blame will be yourself. All your lies will catch up to you, and you will be left to drown in your own tears. One shouldn't throw stones, if they don't want them thrown back. I have noticed a lot of fake people online, I assume they think since they are behind a computer screen the person on the other end will not see into their lies. However, once a person lies, it is hard to keep up with that lie, and in the end it just ends up being on big lie, they couldn't remember. Once this happens their fantasy world gets turned upside down, and the ones that stick with them are the ones that like to keep a lie going. Not all people online are like that, however, you have to watch who you trust, or bridges will get burnt.   … [Read more...]

The Truth About Love

Love is not control, love is not hate, love is where two people will do anything for eachother. Love holds no conditions. Is there a such thing as true love, yes there is... One might think true love is perfect, however, nothing is perfect. Everything has flaws even love. If you have true love, you can get through anything together. I am not saying things will not be hard, I am not saying there will not be tear shed, I am saying you will make it out on top. I like to think my husband and I have true love, we have been to hell and back together, and we are still together. To me true love has no conditions, true love cannot be bought. True love is what you feel when you look into each others eyes and know without a doubt they are the one, they are the one you want to see first thing in the morning, and the last thing at night. What is true love to you?   … [Read more...]
