Intermittent Fasting For Weight Loss

I have been up and down on the scales most my life. It seems like once I start losing weight and doing well, I go through a depression state where I love to snack. In my mind having a snack here and there isn’t hurting anything I mean it’s only so many calories. However, those calories can add up quickly. I love my coffee, but my coffee is made with roughly half coffee half delicious creamer. So I guess you can say I love my creamer. I can drink coffee all day every day, but the problem is my own cup okay it is more like two cups of coffee in the morning is roughly 200 calories. If I had three a day that equals 600 calories and isn’t including any of my meals!

No wonder I can’t lose weight, no wonder the scale was slowly climbing. I was counting calories, I was somewhat portion controlling, I would lose 5 pounds then bam it came back, until I discovered Intermittent Fasting. I still am not sure of all the science behind. However, I do know I can only eat between 10am and 6pm. Everything outside that window has to be water, which I am okay with that. I have only been doing the 16:8 intermittent fasting for 5 days now and I am down 5.2 pounds.

I have my iced coffee with my breakfast at 10am. I then usually have something small about 1pm and then about 5 or so I will have dinner, my iced coffee is the only calories I am drinking the rest is nothing but water, yea water can get boring but soon I will be to my goal weight.

I haven’t cut any foods out, I have lowered my intake on them, I will have an ice cream bar once in awhile, I just limit and have one instead of 5.

I honestly think Intermittent Fasting is the fool proof way to lose weight, as I think about it now when I was younger I didn’t start losing weight until I started working and I only ate during the hours I worked. I ended up losing over 60 pounds and didn’t even realize it.
