Last year we didn’t do Thanksgiving. This is a long story, and I would rather forget a large part of 2011. However, this year we are back home and we will be doing Thanksgiving at our home with “part” or my husband’s family. The last time we had Thanksgiving here my father in law was still alive, I am thinking it was about 8 years ago or so. Then we switched to having it at my sister in laws.
I am in away excited to be having it at my own home. I am not sure who all will be here or what all we will be having. We all just bring dishes to pass… I know we will be having…
2 Turkey’s (hub is making one, and his brother is making the other)
Pumpkin Pie
Macaroni and Cheese
Green Bean Casserole
Mashed Potatoes
Sweet Potatoes
Stuffing
Corn
Banana pudding
and possibly dinner rolls.
This year it really isn’t that organized a lot has yet again taken place, but we will make the best out of it!
I hope when the big day comes everyone gets full! We might work our way out to walmart later that evening, but we are not certain. Be safe and have fun.

I made a Lasagna this year. The family ran a Turkey Trot 5K in the morning and it was easier to have the lasagna made up to just plop in the oven. We had a few sides and plenty of dessert. It turned out to be a great time for all.
