It seems as though I have been battling this thing called obesity most of my life. I am to that point where I have to lose weight it I want another child, and if I want to be around for the daughter I already have. With tipping the scales at close to 300 it's time I do something in fast. I have changed my eating habits, I am slowly starting to introduce exercise into my daily routine. I have done this many times only to get depressed with the scales and give up. I am done giving up, I will find time to workout, even if it's just 15 minutes, because 15 minutes is better than none. I am currently using a stationary bike, kettlebells, and dumbbells. I am working my way up the later, and daily doing 60 curls, 40 kettlebell swings, and 3 miles on the bike. I would like to get in over 100 curls, 200 swings, and 15 miles on the exercise bike daily! I know this will take a little time, but I am doing it for me, and for my family. I know if I get my weight under control my other health … [Read more...]
Get the Professional Look With Sharper Uniforms
To operate a successful business, your customer service practices need to be a cut above the rest. Your employees are the face of your business, and their appearance should speak both to the professionalism of your company and to the services you offer. A security company, for example, should have friendly officers that are well versed in customer service and your company's security policies. The officers should be well groomed and dressed for the part. This would not be possible without a professional guard uniform. The way your customers and the public in general perceive the people in your company often accounts for half of your company image. This even comes before the actual service you offer in many instances. Designing a uniform that makes you and your employees stand out from your competition and appear to be industry leading professionals can create an excellent public image of your company. This professional appearance can also lead to increased profit, as customers … [Read more...]
Anxiety and Weight Problems
With going to counseling twice a month, I have been learning a lot about my condition. I have learned why I fidget with things when in public, I have learned that my weight is a part of my anxiety and the two go hand in hand. I have discovered I do certain things, I didn't realize I did. I think once I get my weight under control, the anxiety will also fall into place, I never really realized how bad things were until I started talking to someone about my problems. As we talk in our meeting, and my counselor is talking about different signs and symptoms of my condition, I am sitting their nodding my head, because that is so me. It all has to do with being judged and not wanting to look like a fool. I often stumble over my words, and would rather not be around large groups of people, because I feel like I will be out of place... Would I be out of place probably not, but in my mind I would be and this triggers my anxiety. I often don't leave the house unless my husband or daughter … [Read more...]
The Benefits of Secure Title Loans
Post contains links which I received some sort of payment. There are many different reasons an automobile owner may choose to take out a title loan. From outstanding debts and medical expenses to business expenses and the higher cost of living, no matter what the reason is, a secure title loan is an excellent way for car owners to get the funds they need fast. What are Title Loans? A title loan is considered a secure loan because a vehicle title is used as collateral for the loan. This collateral can be used to borrow larger sums of money than a personal loan without a car, van or truck title. The exact amount differs based on the vehicle's age, condition, make and model. On average, typical title loans in Toledo, OH range from $500 to $15,000. Am I Eligible for a Title Loan? Battling Anxiety
I have been battling anxiety for many years. I can remember back into my childhood when my anxiety would become a problem. I recently started seeing a therapist to help me battle my inner demons, and to find out where my anxiety stemmed from. I am thankful the therapist I am seeing mainly specializes in Social Phobia. With going to see here, I have a better understanding on why I have it. It was explained to me in away, that had me shaking my head yes... We as humans are all afraid of disapproval. Whether that disapproval is from those close to us, or perfect strangers. My anxiety started when I was a young child, and my biological father is the one to plan, he has instilled fear and judgment into me... What do I mean from this? Well, when we are younger there's usually two people we look up to and two people that are supposed to show us unconditional love. Well, I had one person and that was my mom. The sperm donor was always negative, he would say things such as "You … [Read more...]

Getting in Shape
With having struggled most my life with my weight, I have decided to join my husband in the quest to get fit! Over the past two weeks, we have both been working out almost everyday for about an hour. We have set up a small gym inside out home so we won't have an excuse no longer. Our home gym includes free weights, exercise bike, and Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii. In order to keep up with our daily workouts, we have set up a chart in our bedroom. Our goals very my husband of course has more to do than I do, but a normal workout is 5 miles or more on the bike, 50 curls, 50 kettle bell swings, 50 over heads, and a few other things. With having a small in home gym, this eliminates the need to pay high fees to a gym, including the insane amount of gas needed. Since we have been working out, I have noticed how my clothes are fitting and I am loving it! I would love to add a treadmill or eliptical machine to our workout room, and some heavier weights. I am hoping if I keep … [Read more...]
Adding A Little Fun To Schooling
Monday was our first day back to schooling! I have to say this maybe a very long year, my daughter has become unfocused. She is getting into the higher grades, where schooling doesn't seem to be fun anymore. So I have decided to make a few changes to make it fun again. One of the subjects she dislikes the most, is math. When she was younger she loved math, but the higher up she gets the harder it gets, and she isn't fully understanding it. So to make it fun we are going to break out the measuring cups, and the money and get to getting our math on. I am hoping once she finds the love she once had for it, it will get a bit easier on her. We're also going to start going to the park, now that it has cooled off. I am hoping the cooler weather will put her into learning mode, if not we can always take a hike to help clear her mind so she can begin to focus more. Are you a home schooling family? How do you tackle some of those subjects your kids don't care much for? … [Read more...]
Important SEC information will lead to good life settlements.
In the past, many seniors were convinced that they had to have life insurance so they simply continued to pay their policy premiums—year in and year out—without determining whether or not those policies were still essential to their financial situation. But that is changing with life settlements. So what exactly is a life settlement? A life settlement is the sale of your existing life insurance policy to an investor at a price that is sometimes eight times as much as the cash surrender value! Savvy seniors of today wonder, “What choices do I have? Stop paying premiums, and lose all the value I have paid into this policy? Surrender the policy for a modest cash surrender value? Are any other options available?” You bet, a third alternative has emerged. It is called, “a life settlement.” But before taking this route, you need to fully research the details of your insurance policy. Weigh your options and gauge the best way to obtain the highest sale value possible. There are very … [Read more...]
Life can be a day at the beach with the right firm.
Ok, all adult stuff is pretty much covered. I guess I am officially an adult now. Let’s see, mortgage, check, car payments, check, children, check, Last Will and Testament, check, 401k, check, and finally a solid law firm in my corner that I can count on, double check. You the last one in that last, law firm, was not one that I thought I needed until recently. The family and I were headed to Ft. Lauderdale Beach in our trusty SUV when we were sideswiped pretty good. Don’t worry we’re all ok. And the kids even thought it was cool. Well as the two parties, myself and the kids driving the other car, got out to assess the damage they began to swear that I was my fault. Uh, no kids. I was clearly their fault and very quickly the driver’s father showed up and started flinging accusations around. Mind you, this gentleman wasn’t even in the car during the fender bender. Well, I called a good friend of mine who’s pretty savvy when it comes to this kind of thing. I asked him if he could … [Read more...]
