I love tamales and now that I know how to make them I am going to love them more. With having so much left over turkey from Thanksgiving, I decided to follow the recipe for turkey tamales on All Recipes. We had a ton of turkey left so I of course had to adjust the recipe for the amount I was going to make. We ended up with 10 dozen.
First thing I did was shred up the turkey into smaller pieces.
Then I went and got the seasonings and measured out what I was going to use for the masa and the turkey. I first mixed the turkey with the seasonings. Then I went a head a mixed up the masa.
After I had the turkey ready and the masa ready I began the process of putting them together. The end result delicious.
Everyone who tried them loved them. The All Recipe for the masa is now my go to for my main tamales. I am still on the search for a good recipe for sweet tamales.
