It seems like summer vacation just FLIES by, school has started back up for the kids in my area, with being home schoolers we decide when we go back, while I try to keep it about the same time the public schools does, however, this week the public school days were a bit off so we decided we will be starting on the 12th.
I cannot believe my baby girl is in 6th grade already! We have been homeschooling for going on 7 years! WOW talk about times flying for sure. We didn’t always home school, we attempted to go the public school route, but things were happening in kindergarten that shouldn’t have been, and the school system found it to be funny.
So after battling with the school for 3 months, we decided we would pull her and go out on our own. This was the best decision we made when it came to our daughter’s education. Not only do we decide what she learns, we also have the freedom we need as a family. If we want to head out of town, we can!
Nothing like sitting at a campsite doing school work, while the breeze flows by.
