Summer Activities In West Tennessee

Soon school will be out and the kids will be yelling they are bored! Don’t let the summer give you a stressful headache. There is several activities in the West Tennessee area you can do for little to no money.

Memphis Zoo – Whether you are coming to the area for vacation or you are a resident of Tennessee. You will enjoy over 70 acres of fun. The Memphis zoo has over 2800 animals and 400 different species. The zoo also has a children’s farm and camel rides as well. You will not be disappointed when it comes to the Memphis Zoo!

Memphis Pink Palace Museum – The Pink Palace Museum is full of education! The Pink Palace Museum has many different exhibits that will teach you many different things about the Mid-South. Whether you are learning about different poop, or the dinosaurs that roamed the land. Your family will have a great time learning new things. Now until the end of May you can get 3 months of free membership which will allow you access to the Museum for 3 months for free.

Tennessee Safari Park – The Tennessee Safari Park is home to 400 animals representing 80 different species. One great thing about the Safari park is driving through and the animals coming to your vehicle to be feed. This is truly a fun experience, and well worth it!

There are also several other things to do in Memphis such as Beal Street, Mud Island, Autozone Park, Graceland or maybe you want something more quite. You can always check out a few fishing spots such as Glen Springs, Shelby Forest, or Fort Pillow.

Plan a head and you won’t be hearing I am bored!
