Making the best of our tiny dining room

Guest post written by Kimberly Standford

Our house definitely isn’t’ the biggest. But I don’t think that the two of us really need anything bigger, at least not for the time being. I’m working on decorating everything to make things seem bigger and more welcoming to everyone who visits us. So I’m working on outfitting our dining room so that we won’t hesitate to bring a bunch of people over for dinner parties and other events.

I’ve been doing a whole lot of research on it so that we can find the best possible deal and see what other people have done to save money and make their spaces look bigger. Those are our two main concerns in this project. When I was looking for some space-expanding ideas, I saw some info on Sears cabinet refacing. After I looked through it a little bit I decided that we should use Sears when we decide to actually start to renovate our kitchen.

But first things first, we’re going to focus on our dining room. I already have a favorite paint color picked out and I can’t wait to actually get it on the walls!
